The usual adult dose is one tablet every 12 hours or as prescribed by your physician. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Cefpodoxime Proxetil inhibits bacterial cell-wall synthesis, leading to cell lysis and death of susceptible bacteria.
Common side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or headache. Allergic reactions are rare but require medical attention.
